Daisuke Ishida

Daisuke Ishida is a Berlin based artist working with sound and contemporary media. He is interested in the consequences of artistic practice and theory concerned with sound, space and perception. His multidisciplinary investigations enter fields like acoustics, architecture, auditory perception, computer-music and related branches.

In 2009 he founded AUSREIHE, an independent organization specialized on experimental electronic computer-music. Together with Ken Furudate, Kazuhiro Jo and Mizuki Noguchi he set up the SINE WAVE ORCHESTRA in 2002 and was recognized by the Prix Ars Electronica in the category Digital Music in 2004. In 2009 Ishida received a scholarship from the Stiftung Niedersachsen for Media Art at the Edith-Ruß-Haus.

Daisuke Ishida presented his artistic work already at several international institutions and museums.
